Warranty (Alpha K9 Gear)

• Lifetime Guarantee (what it means): “Lifetime” refers to the reasonable working life of the product. The guarantee applies to the product’s ability to perform its intended function and covers manufacturer defects only.
• What’s covered: Faults in materials or workmanship that occur during the product’s expected lifespan, assessed in line with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
• What’s not covered: Damage caused by dogs, other animals, or external conditions/activities, including (but not limited to) chewing, tearing, scratching, rubbing on concrete or hard surfaces, salt water/beach use, heavy impact, or misuse.
• Working/sport use: Use in working dog, sport, or high-intensity environments is not considered normal wear and tear. Damage resulting from these conditions may not be eligible for warranty.
• Wear and tear / cosmetic changes: If the product still functions as intended, we don’t cover general wear such as fraying edges, fading, discolouration, scuffs, missing eyelets, or surface wear.
• How to make a claim: Email info@alphak9gear.com.au with:
  • photos of the issue
  • a short description of what happened
  • your order number/invoice or proof of purchase
• Shipping and other costs: If a claim isn’t approved, Alpha K9 Gear isn’t responsible for freight or other related costs.
• Assessment: All claims are reviewed case-by-case. Outcomes are determined at Alpha K9 Gear’s discretion, consistent with ACL.
